Will Justice Prevail?!!!

R. Kelly will go on trial on September 17th, more than five years after he was first charged with child pornography. Cook County Judge Vincent Gaughan has set a September 17th trial date.

The Grammy Award winning singer/producer has pleaded not-guilty to 14 counts of child pornography. He was charged in 2002 and is accused of engaging in videotaped sex acts with an underage girl.

"As Robert [Kelly] said many times, he believes in our system of justice," a spokesperson for the singer told MTV News. "He is looking forward to finally having his day in court. He's confident that when all the facts come out, it will be clear he's not guilty of any crime."
