Rick Ross Album Pushed Back
Rick Ross’ sophomore album has been pushed back to February 19th.
“Trilla,” was all set to be released on Dec. 18 from Slip-N-Slide/Def Jam, but the album’s first single, “Speedin’” featuring R. Kelly, is stuck at a standstill at No. 76 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Def Jam decided to move the CD’s release date to Feb. 19 so that the project has more time to develop, reports Billboard.com.
“‘Trilla’ means real enough and was really inspired by Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller,’” Ross tells Billboard.com. “It’s going to be the biggest street album of the year.”
